Dear Lockdown Diary Day Eighteen
Day eighteen was our official last day of holiday. A huge part of our day was in front of the big screen. I honestly don’t feel too guilty, I know we have a lot of hard work ahead of us. I did some prepping for remote schooling but most of my work was done. Tomorrow I take my new role as their teacher during the mornings.
I have no idea what to expect but I guess it’s a good test run for me. I’ll give it my best and hopefully the kids will work with me, not against me. The beauty about remote schooling in our case is the teachers are fully on board. My eldest, Nika has live sessions with her teachers and assignments to complete. The three little ones has well planned schedules to follow with all their work. All I have to do is make sure they get the right work, make sure they do it and help where I can and must. I am sure we will be fine.
Ballgown Bins Out
I was tagged on Instagram to do the #ballgownbinsout challenge by my good friend Carly from Mom of two little girls. I decided to clean the pool instead of taking the bins out. Garbage day is on Tuesday and today was Monday. The pool got a good clean in the process. It was a win win situation. We had so much fun doing it, the kids loved filming me.
Hope you all had an awesome day at home. Who else is starting with remote schooling? Some of my friends are not starting yet and they haven’t heard anything from their schools? Honestly I don’t know who is luckier. Us or them.
Stay safe and sending lots of love xxx
