Responsibility With Prosperity
When Do We Take Responsibility?
With prosperity comes responsibility. When do we see ourselves as prosperous? How do we put ourselves in that bracket? I believe the moment we have enough we have to start taking responsibility for our prosperity.
Prosperity – successful in material terms: flourishing financially
Seek God’s Plan First
Everything that we have, belongs to God. If He blesses us financially we have a responsibility to do with our finances what He intended us to do.
Prosperity is such a blessing and God really wants us to have a prosperous life, but there will always be a great deal of responsibility. I am a firm believer that the more prosperous we are, the more responsibility we have. This is not a bad thing, it’s a wonderful opportunity to be obedient to God and to do the good works that He has set out for us.
Job 22:21 —
“Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way, prosperity will come to you.”
I keep asking God the same question. What is Your plan with my life? Where do You want me and what do You want me to do? Sometimes I hear nothing, I think that is when God wants me to just be still and wait.
One thing I think we need to apply more to our every day life, is tuning into God more. That FM radio should always seek the frequency of God’s voice so that we can hear where He wants us.
What better life to live than the one God planned for us and what better things to do, than the things He needs us to do. We must open the eyes of our hearts and forget about what the world says we need, the more we focus on what God says the easier we will be able to handle the responsibilities that comes along with our prosperities.
2 Corinthians 9:9–11 —
“As it is written: “He has scattered abroad His gifts to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your store of seed and will increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous on every occasion…”
